Cannondale Triple Crown P/B Muscle Milk

Returning for the fourth year, The US Cup Triple Crown All Mountain Pro Series returns stronger than ever in 2013. As an added bonus, The Triple Crown will also be open to CAT 1 racers who want to test themselves in multiple disciplines.  *UCI rules and doping guidelines will be in place at the Bonelli Park Pro XCO event.  UCI and PRO XCT rankings will be reconized for saturday's Pro cross country events.  UCI points and payout for cross country will be paid according to UCI XCO C2 guidelines.*

The Triple Crown will include three disciplines at each of the 3 events-XC/SD/TT/STXC.  A riders best two scores will count for his/her overall all score on the weekends event, as well as the series.  The XC race score can not be throw out and will act as the tie breaker, in case two riders tally the same amount of points from the best of their SD or STXC score.
**Rider must race all 3 rounds to be eligible for overall series cash and prizes**
** Minimum 10 riders per class to recieve weekend prize purse**
**Rider must start all 3 disciplines per event to be eligible for weekend prize money**
**Minimum 5 riders per class average to recieve series prize purse**




Rock N' Road Cup West Series

A California based series that focus' on amateurs and regional pro riders. The best 5 out 7 rounds will be tallied for a riders title run, with the final round paying points and a half for all race finishers.

Podium Awards:   We will offer awards for the top 3 positions.  For classes that have 10 or more finishers, awards will go to the top 5. Kenda Cup West Series Jersey's will be awarded to the CAT 1 divisions.  CAT 2/3 will recieve a Kenda Cup West winners certificate and are eligible to purchase a champions jersey.

Series Awards:  A rider doesn't have to race 5 of 7 rounds to be eligible for the overall series awards. But, best 5 of 7 results will be factored for overall series ranking. Class must have a minimum of 3 rider average to be eligible for overall series awards.


 




SERC/US Cup EAST

For 2013, the US Cup is proud to announce we are returning as an official partner with Dave and Terri Berger of the SERC Series.

Riders can expect the same great quality of racing put on by the Gone Riding staff as well as some additional US Cup backing in the form of end of the year SERC/US Cup Champions jersey's, pro # plates, and additional swag and marketing.


 

Racing Categories

USA Cycling has eliminated the Semi Pro category and renamed The Expert, Sport and Beginner Category.
Semi Pro/Expert = Category 1
Sport = Category 2
Beginner = Category 3
Semi Pros you must contact USA Cycling and be redesignated to either your respective CAT 1 age group or Pro. www.usacycling.org

Racing Age
 
Racing age is your age at the end of the year 12/31/13,that is the age group you SHOULD race with for the 2012 race season.  However, in some cases older riders may drop down and race a younger age group in the same class category per USAC rules.

**Riders should also have the courtsey to upgrade themselves according to USA Cycling's rule book for the CAT 3 and CAT 2 classes.  We will do our best to discourage "Sandbagging" or "Cherry Picking" at these lower Categories, however riders and peers should police themselves in conjunction with the host promoter and venue.** 

- Category 3 racers must move to Category 2 after placing in the top five in five races. Failure to do so may result in license suspension.

- Category 2 riders may move up to Category 1 after two top five finishes by presenting an upgrade request and a resume to USA Cycling.

- Category 2 riders must advance to Category 1 after placing in the top five in five races. Failure to do so may result in license suspension.

Racing License

Pros / Category 1: must have a valid USA Cycling Racing License indicating mountain bike category at any race sanctioned by USAC.

Category 2 / Category 3 / Junior Racers: are not required to have an annual USA Cycling Racing License, even at a USAC sanctioned event. They may buy a one day license, riders wishing to upgrade should go to
www.usacycling.org for upgrade procedures.

What To Bring To Registration when you pick up your packet:
- Valid USA Cycling Racing License (at select events)
- USA Cyling Release form (at select events)
- Team Big Bear Release form (at select events)
- Picture I.D.
- Receipt if you pre registered
- Racers of 200 pounds plus may race as a Clydesdale. See entry 
  form for categories, where applicable at race venue.
